Lance Goodwin, founder of Duckpaddle and the Fence Factory began to build bird tables from his home in Forsbrook, Staffordshire after retiring over 15 years ago. This quickly progressed into fencing and rose-arches being made from rustic wooden poles, and within a year, his products became so admired, a newly found hobby was turned into a small business.
Through further development and innovation in design, Lance built his first garden swing from pressure-treated tanalised wood, instead of using natural rustic poles in favour of a more durable product. With this foundation set, Lance started to exhibit his furniture at local garden shows, which proved to be a great success. Sales flourished and this lead to Duckpaddle joining some of the most prestigious garden events in the country, such as Hampton Court Palace, Tatton Park Flower Show, and Gardeners World Live at the N.E.C.
Now Duckpaddle range has extended offering not only the Rustic style but also a smooth planed finish and more recently a thatched Arbour and swing collection!
